Our boats

CAPELLI Tempest 750 is a 7.5 m RiB (rigid inflatable boat), which is 2.9 m wide and is certified to carry 12 people and is CE certified. The motor is a 200 hp 4-stroke SUZUKI new generation with low fuel consumption and noise emissions. The maximum speed ranges between 40 and 50 knots (depending on the number of passengers). The boat is equipped with a GARMIN 3010c MARPA radar, chart plotter and colour echo sounder, electronic tide table, VHF-radio with cell call and distress button, GSM, fire extinguisher, first aid equipment, flares and automatic bilge pump. The boat has a V hull and travels smoothly at sea. Each passenger has their personal safety equipment comprising a flotation suit (Regatta) Balaclava, life jacket (275 N off-shore), waterproof gloves and Carrera mask, which is double glazed and has anti fog.

MB ”Skårungen” VIKSUND is a 35 ft speed boat with 470 hp Volvo-Penta motor and a maximum speed of 24 knots. This boat is certified to carry eight people and is CE certified. This boat is owned by Skjervøy High School and can be chartered for fishing trips (maximum 5-6 passengers) and day trips. The boat is equipped with radar, chart plotter, colour echo sounder, VHF-radio, life raft, thermo life jackets, first aid equipment, fire extinguisher and flares. The boat’s skipper, Knut-Arne Mikalsen, is well known in Great Britain as a fishing guide.

MS ” Karmø” is a 45 ft shrimp trawler with 350 hp Volvo-Penta motor and a maximum speed of 12 knots. The boat is certified for eight people. The boat’s owner is Oystein Mikalsen (Knut-Arne’s brother) and is utilised for fishing trips for groups of up to eight people. This boat has the same equipment as MS ”Skårungen”
